Returns Policy

Consumer Contracts Regulations

Consumer Contracts Regulations are designed to protect customers who are not physically present with the seller at the time of purchase. They cover purchases made via email and the internet, together with telephone and mail order.

They only apply to transactions between businesses and consumers (individuals acting outside the course of their business) and do not include business-to-business contracts and auctions.

Right to Cancel

The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning with the day after the day on which you receive the goods

Exceptions to the right to cancel

The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
In Elite Designs' case this applies to our photocharting service and certain personalised products

Returns Costs

All costs related to postage for returns will be borne by you unless goods supplied were faulty. In such a case we shall be responsible for reimbursing you the return costs once we instigate the Recovery of sums paid.

Recovery of sums paid

On the cancellation of a contract under the Right to Cancel, we shall refund any sum paid by or on behalf of you under or in relation to the contract to the person by whom it was made free of any charge, less any charge made in accordance with Expenses Recovery and on compliance with Restoration of Goods

Expenses Recovery

We may make a charge, not exceeding the direct costs of recovering any goods supplied under the contract, where you do not comply with Returns Costs or return the goods at the expense of us or do not comply with Restoration of Goods.

Restoration of Goods

On cancellation, you shall be under a duty to restore the goods to us in accordance with Returns Costs, and in the meanwhile to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them.
Once the goods have been received back by us, you shall be discharged from any duty to retain possession of the goods or restore them to us.
Returned goods must be in pristine, resaleable condition or if faulty must be in the same condition in which is was received by you. Failure to comply with this may result in Expenses Recovery.
Proof of postage is not proof of receipt. We will only instigate Recovery of sums paid once the goods have been received and checked. You should choose to send the item back by a method requiring a signature.
